Celebrate successes together as a network. Making the Gateway community's commitment visible. Highlighting start-ups with social and environmental impact.

Gateway alumni share the common experience of advice and support from Gateway's start-up services. Many of our alumni are involved in the alumni network, supporting each other and Gateway.

With this in mind, we want to recognise and celebrate the success and commitment of alumni and their start-ups through the Gateway Alumni Awards.

We invite our community to nominate candidates for the Gateway Alumni Awards.

How to apply

Nominations for 2025: 01.09. - 31.10.2025

Do you know alumni and start-ups who have made a difference or achieved great growth?

Think about which person or team you would like to nominate.
Nominations can come from the alumni community, as a self-nomination or from the Gateway team, e.g. from start-up coaches.

Fill out the online form for the award category This also includes giving reasons for your nomination.

A panel of judges will select the winners.
The awards will be presented at the Gateway Alumni Network Christmas Party in early December.

The three award categories are

engagement (special commitment to the Gateway alumni community)
impact (social, environmental and economic impact of the business)
growth (company growth in absolute or relative terms)

The Engagement Award is for individuals within the Gateway Alumni Network. The Impact and Growth Award is intended to recognize start-up companies from the Gateway Alumni community.
