Interactive and practice-oriented day workshop as a classroom event - November 24th

This course is a free training opportunity designed for scientists to trial and prepare any kind of commercial or social ventures based on their research. Solve important problems by transforming research into solutions!

In this course, you will learn about methodologies on how to transfer your ideas into practical solutions for industry, medicine and society. Methods comprise among others market research, customer identification. In exchange with colleagues and experts you will get a feeling about success factors for innovation and entrepreneurship from science. Particularly in the workshop, you will work in groups on case studies or your own ideas from daily research. You will learn how to identify and evaluate a promising idea, how to develop the idea towards an innovation project or even a start-up and how to present it via a pitch. As a participant, you are very welcome to bring in your own innovation case or idea from research.

PhD Candidates and Post-Docs from Cologne State Universities (Universität zu Köln, TH Köln, DSHS) with a medical-scientific background
