The first smart ice bath for your home – because mindset is everything.
Revolutionizing Cold Therapy
Cold therapy is scientifically proven and used by athletes, biohackers, and top performers. However, it has been impractical, complicated, and hard to integrate into daily life. We’ve developed a smart solution that makes cold therapy simpler, more convenient, and ready to use instantly, setting the standard for the future.
Improve your health and your fitness
Our product aims to overcome the existing challenges of comfort, accessibility, and ease of use associated with traditional cold therapy systems. By combining advanced technology with thoughtful design, we offer a solution that seamlessly integrates into daily life – quick to set up, easy to use, and optimized for the modern lifestyle. The application is not limited to athletes or biohackers, but targets anyone looking to enhance their recovery and performance.
Our product allows users to benefit from cold therapy anytime, without the need for extensive preparation, all from the comfort and flexibility of their own home. With this approach, we aim to not only capture the cold therapy market but also set a new standard that will sustainably change the way people enhance their health and performance.
How did you get together as a team?
We’ve known each other for over 10 years and came together due to our shared passion for ice bathing, health-tech, and the desire to build something great.
How did you come up with your idea?
Our idea was born at a biohacking conference in Florida USA, a health-tech seminar at U.C. Berkeley in San Francisco, and ultimately through our regular ice bathing at Otto-Maigler Lake in Cologne post covid.
The passion to create our own product with so many health benefits drove us to develop a solution we would want to use ourselves.
What are you studying?
Nicolai studied Mechanical Engineering (M.Sc) at TH Köln, graduation in 2025.
Aurel studied Business Administration (B.Sc) at the University of Cologne, graduation in 2024.
How has Gateway helped you?
Simon Graw, Start-Up Coach at Gateway, has supported us from our first two-pager pitch to the promotion of the EXIST Founders’ Grant and the establishment of our own company.
The University of Cologne, especially the Gateway team, has been instrumental in supporting us with their resources and helpful coaches, making the start-up journey much easier and helping us advance our project.
