LUBYO - Let Us Be Your Office
We are the first B2B SaaS platform where companies can create, and manage legally compliant remote work policies for their employees.
And employees can book their workation stays abroad directly on the same platform based on the company policies.
How did you come up with your idea?
During the Corona lockdown, we received messages from our colleagues and friends about how they had worked in the "home office" from abroad for an extended period of time.
I, Roman, wanted to do the same, as my employer allowed me to do so. My experience and that of the others showed me that a workation has a positive impact on everyone's work-life balance, but that the online research for accommodation, possible work spaces and leisure activities nearby - is complicated and very time-consuming.
So Niklas and I decided to start a company that offers employees - our clients - a pleasant, stress-free and organised stay, so that they can live out their freedom, work from beautiful places on the beach and escape the grey weather in Germany.
What are you studying/working or what have you studied?
Nikolas is about to finish his B.Sc. in Geography at the University of Cologne and has work experience in different consulting agencies.
Roman has over 12 years of work experience in Human Resources and business development. He has studied Psychology and Intercultural Business Communication at the University of Jena.
Funfact
We love and live our idea, so we are a remote-first company and will not need a permanent office in the future. We speak several languages and neither of us grew up in Germany.
