This enables VisaFlow to develop customized and scalable solutions. Our goal is to create a platform that not only meets the current needs of users, but also contributes to global talent mobility and economic growth in the long term.
How did you get together as a team?
Our team, consisting of Cheyenne, Georg, Tristan and Tom, came together while we were studying together.
As an American, Cheyenne experienced the challenges of the visa process first-hand and thus provided the kickoff for our idea. Her insider experience, coupled with Georg's business background, Tom's technical know-how and Tristan's legal expertise, formed the perfect foundation for the realization of our idea.
We realized that together we had the potential to develop an innovative solution that would not only overcome Cheyenne's challenges, but could improve the experiences of thousands.
How did you come up with your idea?
Cheyenne had personally experienced the trials and tribulations of the visa process when she moved to Germany from the USA. Her experiences were characterized by complexity, ambiguity and bureaucratic hurdles.
We quickly realized that Cheyenne's problems were certainly not unique and that many international students and professionals shared similar experiences.
We identified a clear gap in the field of international mobility and the need to simplify the process and make it more accessible.
What are you studying/working or what have you studied?
Our dynamic team at VisaFlow is made up of four members who are all deeply rooted in the academic world.
Tom, Cheyenne and Georg, are Masters students in Business Administration, while Tristan is studying Law. Our fields of study reflect the diversity and complementarity of our skills and interests, which are crucial to the development and growth of our start-up.
Our shared passion for solving complex problems through innovative approaches has brought us together and is at the heart of our collaboration.
The combination of our diverse backgrounds allows us to bring a holistic perspective to the challenges and opportunities in the global workplace.
Funfact
We all met on a course at the university that none of us had originally planned to attend. Each of us had decided to take part in this course at short notice for different reasons.
